This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This farm offers many different outdoor opportunities including deer, turkey, small game, and possibly even some waterfowl hunting. There are two nice canals on the east side of the property, with one running nearly the full length of the farm, creating excellent travel corridors and natural funnels for wildlife movement. I'd strongly recommend walking this one before making your decision solely off the aerial photos, because they simply do not do this farm justice. The property is made up of 144.4 acres of CRP, timber, row crops, water, and thick bedding cover that all come together to create a strong setup for holding and hunting mature deer. As I walked the edge of the timber along the CRP, I jumped several deer and even spotted two fawns before they disappeared into the tall cover. The CRP was just recently renewed, so this farm is going to continue to maintain the current cover. I found multiple locations that immediately stood out as ideal box blind setups along with several excellent ladder stand locations for different winds and access routes. There is a lot more timber and cover here than what shows up clearly from above, especially when trying to squeeze a 801-acre farm into an aerial view. The combination of habitat, cover, water, and food sources gives hunters several different ways to hunt this farm throughout the season. Get boots on the ground and take a look for yourself to truly understand everything this farm has to offer.
