You will be hunting the northern 150-acre portion of Grey's Island just south of Alexandria, Missouri, which borders a 2,000-acre Wildlife Refuge! The deer cross from the mainland to the island at all times of the year, swimming a small channel that separates the island from the wildlife refuge. There will be waterfowl in the area with the Great River National Wildlife Refuge / Fox Island Division right next door. The landowner has hunted in years gone by with great success.
