This hunting lease is leased and not available. This entire farm was absolutely covered up with deer sign. I cannot recall a time when I walked a forty-acre property and found this much sign. But, as the old saying goes, you could only have ten acres, so long as it is in the right spot! This property seems to fall directly in line with this saying. Although the county road runs the entire length of the east side, access is at the southeast corner and the far north side of the property. The bank along the road is very steep, and you are not walking up it. Because of this, it creates a natural funnel along the ridge top. You will see exactly what I am referring to when you look at the photos and see the number of heavily used deer trails, I found during my inspection. The ridge tops gently roll to the creek bottom on the western side. There are some nice draws that would make for a great bow or firearm stand location. In fact, there are several nice stand locations on this farm. From the southeast corner of the farm heading west than straight north, there is somewhat of a trail system that will give you the ability to quietly enter and exit your stand. The deer are not lacking for food, as the farm has numerous oak trees producing acorns, and is bordered by row crops. Overall, this is genuinely nice farm that had a ton of deer sign and holds a ton of potential.
