This hunting lease is leased and not available. Properties with this much cover very rarely open up. Ranging from thick cedar thickets on the north end, mixed hard woods in the middle the property and NW corner, to scattered cedars anxious to take over the grass on the west part of the property. The deer sign on the property was plentiful in the form of trails and many nice rubs. There were a couple of turkeys strutting in the grass on the east part of the property when I pulled up, and I spooked several others during my inspection. Gobbles were heard all around.

The grassy areas are in the process of being converted to cattle pasture. Plans are being made to fence off the eastern and western grass from the timber. SO, CATTLE WILL NOT BE IN THE TIMBERED AREAS. The trail connecting the two pastures on the north end of the property will be widened to approximately 30' and fenced off as well-AS INDICATED BY THE BLUE LINES ON THE AERIAL PICTURE.

There are several shooting lanes and an old blind you are welcome to use.
