This hunting lease is leased and not available.
This is a year-round, all-legal game lease in Winnebago County, where leases are hard to come by. The property features a mix of timber, row crops, and overgrown brush. A convenient farm road runs along the south side, extending nearly to the eastern border, offering easy access to your stand. The timber has solid undergrowth, and as shown in the photos, there are suitable trees for hanging a stand. However, with the dense underbrush, I'd recommend setting up along the edges rather than in the middle, as resident does are likely to use the thicker timber for bedding. Don't overlook the parcel on the west side of the road either. While the central section used to hold cattle, it has since undergone natural succession, improving the habitat. It's unclear whether cattle will return. Although, unlikely, it remains a possibility.
