THIS PROPERTY NEVER DISAPPOINTS...Everytime I have been there I've seen deer calmly loafing around...
Located in the middle of the Breaks country, in northern Cheyenne county, sits this beautiful and diverse 467- acre lease.
The southern part has Hackberry Creek flowing through a crop field. On the day of inspection, we saw about a dozen mule deer calmly hanging out on this part of the property, as well as a dozen very relaxed turkeys. The owners mentioned several times that they also see a lot of wildlife on this property. There is good access and parking in the southwest and northeast corners.
The middle of the lease is very rough pasture ground. This area of the state is known for this rough terrain, consisting of lots of canyons, washouts, ditches, and other hiding spots for the deer. The vegetation is primarily native grass and Yuca.
There are two more crop fields to the north and east that will provide food sources.
There is a very small chance that cattle may get turned out in the southern crop field this fall.
Deer unit 1.
