This hunting lease is leased and not available. 35 acres in Dane County. This is a Deer Hunting Lease Only. Located just a few miles southeast of Madison this property has a good mix of cover and crops. The cover consists of marsh grass, willows, mature timber, and thick underbrush. Sandwiched between two larger blocks of timber this lease should be a great area for intercepting bucks during the rut. As you can see in the photos numerous heavily traveled trails are located on the property as well as numerous rubs and beds. Deer sign was abundant throughout the property. The west end of the cover opens up allowing great coverage for a strategically placed stand. During my inspection I jumped 4 deer that were bedded just inside of the cover. Several crop fields border the property providing plenty of food options for the local herd. A great trail system on the property will allow good access to all areas of the lease. There is a gate to the entrance of the property that isn't locked but should be closed after leaving the property. Respectful use of Atv's is allowed for hunting related purposes only when weather and ground conditions permit. Respect all boundaries. No tree cutting. No use of nails, screws, or screw in tree steps is allowed.
