This hunting lease is leased and not available. When I left this property all I kept thinking was wow, what a great tract of land! This 40 acre hunting lease in Mason County, MI has big buck written all over it. The thick cover and older pine tree growth make for great cover to hold deer; I kicked up at least a dozen while walking around. There are multiple natural openings amongst the thick cover, making for great ambush spots and potential food plot locations. There is a main trail through the woods along with several smaller auxiliary trails, providing excellent access to sneak in and out to hunt. Throw in a 1/3 mile of river frontage with trout fishing allowed and you have one heck of a lease! Mason County is within the Michigan antler point restriction zone, which has been producing quality bucks in recent years. The landowner is fine with trails being trimmed and maintained, food plots being planted and shooting lanes being maintained and created. Camping is allowed and there is space for campers and RV's.
