This hunting lease is leased and not available. 141 ac located just South of Atlanta, TX, in Cass County. This is a new property that has only been hunted by family members. The landowner is looking for a group of guys to come in and treat this place like their own. Camping is allowed and there are some good spots. Clearing of trees and brush is allowed and so is planting food plots. The neighbors to the West just clear cut their timber and you can tell that all the deer have moved over for the cover. There is a big cypress bottom with some beavers working in the spring fed creek so water for game is no problem. You could pump water for food plots if needed. Stands sites are all over this place along the trails that run down the hill into the bottom. I saw some pig sign but it wasn't over run with it like some places. Down in the bottom and creek, along with the top of the hill is where most of the rubs and old scrapes where located. One of the clearing are in the bottom and would make a great kill spot and is right next to the creek. I had deer blowing at me as I walked the trails, jumping them from their pine needle beds. There was some cat tracks and yotes along the creek and coon too, this would be a great place to trap for winter fur or just for fun. With the hills and bottom land 4 to 5 guys will have plenty of room, this is a diamond in the rough!!
