This hunting lease is leased and not available. This 320 acre lease in Otsego County, MI is the Northern portion of a larger 640 acre tract of land in the big woods area of the Northern LP. Just South of Gaylord and minutes off I-75 this property has a great location, with plenty of State land in the area as well. The property itself also has excellent built in access with many trails throughout connecting the gas wells. The gas well openings will make for great food plot and hunting locations, the landowner is fine with food plots being planted. Many of the trails already have clover growing in them as well. The woods on this tract are a great mix of mature trees and newer growth making for a diverse habitat to attract all types of wildlife. I found several older buck rubs while walking the property in Summer time so the bucks are definitely in the area. This property is enrolled in the QFP forestry program and appx. 20 acres will be select cut in early 2021. This lease is open to all hunting seasons, no screw in steps are allowed in the trees. Camping and ATV use is permitted for hunting purposes only.
