This hunting lease is leased and not available. Not a lot of woods on this 76 acre Shiawassee County hunting lease but wow the deer sign was plentiful! The deer and turkey seem to be using this woodlot and the drainage ditches on the lease as a travel corridor, there were trails throughout the grassy areas between crop fields along the ditches. I also found a few older buck rubs while walking around. The drainage ditches would make great access for hunters to sneak to the woodlot undetected and out of sight. The woods and surrounding area have several mature trees in the mix perfect for stand setups. This lease has access off two roads allowing for entry on different wind directions, the property definitely lays out nicely for stealthy hunting.
